hi there, can anyone explain in details each component in below codes? I have tried google but no luck to find info that would help me to fully understand the use of prxmatch:
if prxmatch('m/^[A-z0-9]\.{4}/', code) then do;
m
/
\
.
{4}
Thanks 🙂

m : operation is matching (optional prefix, almost never used)
/ : pattern delimiter, pattern continues until that character is met again
\ : escapes the special meaning of the period character that follows
. : when escaped, matches a period
{4} : match the previous pattern (a period) exactly 4 times
Thanks 🙂
