keep losing data in SAS work session

Hi Thanks for help.

The SAS Temporary Files >_TD***  directory is there but the files I originally created are not there. When I create a new file as you mentioned I can see it.  I guess my computer is set in such a way so that after certain time period the files in Temporary directory is being deleted. Is there a place I can set this parameter to be longer?

In my experience, this is not natural Windows behavior. Talk with your IT people about it.

And store your files from long-running jobs in a permanent library.

Thinking further about it: are you running out of space on your C: drive? It might be that Windows cleans up anything it can just to stay alive.
