Calcite | Level 5

My company is struggling to find enough qualified candidates to build out a full financial analytics reporting team. We need at least 10 more Credit Risk types with strong SAS analysis skills, but we are back to the top of the order and my normal routes are all dried up. Can anyone advise? Looking for online communities, forums, etc to connect with SAS programmers. For the record, the positions are in the Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio area - relocation expenses covered - major lending house.

easy solution: increase the salary.Smiley Wink

actually, I am not kidding. if the whole statistical industry can provide very attractive pay, then more talent people will switch to this field. Look at IT (computer science).

It looks like I am hopeless. Location is in China.

That is even worse. people ask 30% more salary than in US if the location is in Beijing.

30% more is not too bad. People ask that much more even within the States, say moving from Florida to Alabama or South Dakota. Seriously, it is all about what kind of life you are talking about. You will have to spend that 30% more on your vacation to Disney land and FL beach, while folks in Tampa can just make a round trip in a day for much less expense.
