Hi all,

 

Please advise how to read the data from the datalines. Simple case but I did not do it for one year and can not recollect (

data test;
  infile datalines dsd;
  input severity;
datalines;                      
0,0,0,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2,3,3,3,3,4,4,5,5,5,5,6,7,9,10,11
;
run;

Just add:

data test;
  infile datalines dlm="," dsd;
  input severity;
datalines;                      
0,0,0,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2,3,3,3,3,4,4,5,5,5,5,6,7,9,10,11
;
run;

Do note you will only read one item though as only one variable given.  Do you want to read each one into a variable or observation?
