I have a set of SAS datasets which were created on a Windows 32 machine (I think). I want to make copies of the files in native Windows 64 bit format. How can I do this? I thought the following would work (running on the Win64 machine)
libname oldfiles "folder";
libname newfiles v9 "folder";
proc datasets;
copy in=oldfiles out=newfiles;
run;quit;
but this just copies the files, keeping their previous format.
Found the solution. Use the noclone option. As per below.
