Right now in SAS VI, permissions are handled at the parent entity level, but there’s no built-in way to manage permissions separately for child objects under that entity.

It would be very helpful to have the ability to define permissions directly on child objects, so access could be controlled independently from the parent record. For example, users could have access to a case but still be restricted from viewing or editing certain child records under it.

This could help in scenarios where different teams should only see their own child records, or when some child objects contain sensitive information that should not be exposed to everyone who has access to the parent entity.

Right now, there’s no real solution for this kind of requirement, so having permissions directly on child objects would be a very useful and practical solution.

Thank you
