hi,

1.howmany other ways to do the below query?

select height,name from sashelp.class having height=min(height);

2. is below queries performs same?(where/on)

select  * from a,b where a.empid=b.empid

select * from a inner join b on a.empid=b.empid

note: I want to know which is performance wise best. I already put fullstimer,I am getting cputime and os memory but cpu time is showing same

Question 2: These two syntaxes are equivalent. SQL queries describe what you want. SQL processors (part of the DBMS) try to find the optimal way of answering your query. Only testing, within your own configuration, will tell you which is best.
