Hi all,
I am using proc mapimport to convert a shapefile into SAS dataset. I am getting the following error. Can anyone tell me what the error message means. I was able to see the map on ArcExplorer.

Thanks,
Amit

ERROR: Unknown error encountered while processing .shp file

The code:

proc mapimport out=AUS_zip
datafile='C:\Documents and Settings\Desktop\\POA06aAUST_region.shp';
run;
