Proc Expand sum daily volumes to weekly volumes using dates

Hi there,

I have a dataset with two variables - Date and daily volumes for 2 years. I have missing volumes for every Sunday as the data is based on a 6 day working week and I am are trying to sum up these to weekly volumes. I understand Proc Expand should be able to do this hence I used the following code:

proc expand data=data out=newdata from=day to=week;
id date;
run;

This however seems to total up on Sunday with incorrect totals and negative figures.

Please can anyone help.
