I have seen same kind of issues in my Enviornment. there i found the issues with /tmp FS in servers whcih is fiiledup or not having sufficent space for sort opertaions. most of these SAS_UTIL** files are stroing in /tmp ( default work path ) instaed of saswork. so validate /tmp FS also once whether it has the space or not .
