Hi everyone,

I keep getting the following error when running my program (in batch mode):

ERROR: CLI error trying to establish connection: Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 1114: A dynamic link library(DLL) initialization routine failed. (Oracle in OraClient10g_home1, C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\client_1\BIN\SQORA32.DLL).

I checked and the DLL file does exist in the specified location.

Also, this error ONLY appears when I run the program in batch mode. Running it from the normal sas window does not cause a problem...

Any tips?

contact Admin and ask him/her to install the driver.

Driver is installed...as stated, error only occurs in batch mode not GUI...

Can you post the connection code you are using to submit?

I have it setup as a macro :

%let db = 'Database1';

%let uid = 'RO';

%let pwd = '0202';

Then I use it like this:

proc sql;

connect to   odbc (db=&db uid=&uid pwd=&pwd);
