in the method you mentioned above if a person has more than one comorbidity then would it give misleading results???

So, I think it needs to be clearer what is the purpose of the boxplot.
(or the many comorbid box plots).
Say if you were to show boxplot of age by cancer
then boxplot of age by aids
I assume you wouldn't have restricted either plot to only those that have cancer (and no other comorbid) or only those that have aids...
So, if the purpose is exploratory...(arrgh, no idea)
you are showing age ranges from __ to __ by cancer, and from ___ to ___ by aids...
Not sure what the answer is...because I feel like it doesn't necessary misleads...unless it does
