Student teams from the SAS Curiosity Cup showcase how they used data and AI to explore questions they care about across Business and Economy, Health, Science, and Engineering, and Culture, Lifestyle, and Entertainment.
In this highly competitive year, 138 teams from 20 countries participated, and this session features several of the highest-scoring projects and their real-world insights.
You’ll hear fast-paced mini-presentations ranging from inflation-driven household food tradeoffs and government bond auction signals to hospital length-of-stay forecasting, chronic disease hotspot mapping, and more—each showing how students combined curiosity with practical analysis using SAS academic software.

Presenters: Curiosity Cup student teams:
  • The Mavericks (Kansas State University)
  • Benchmark (Roskilde University & University of Copenhagen)
  • Frontline Forecast (University of North Texas)
  • Curious Cats (Kansas State University)
  • Orsol Forecasting (Purdue University)
