Model Context Protocol (MCP) provides a secure, governed way to connect enterprise analytics with enterprise AI assistants. This session shows how MCP extends SAS Viya by enabling AI agents to work safely within regulated environments. Using a prototype MCP Server built with SASPy, see how an AI assistant can explore study metadata, analyze domains, generate and execute SAS code, and organize results directly in Viya—while preserving auditability, traceability, and oversight. This approach connects automation and compliance across clinical programming, real‑world evidence, and advanced analytics, helping organizations accelerate insight generation without compromising integrity or transparency.
