SAS Viya 4 and SAS Viya Workbench provide very powerful compute environments, which can now be leveraged from SAS Enterprise Guide. SAS Enterprise Guide 8.4, released in March 2024, added the ability to access the SAS Viya 4 compute server. SAS Enterprise Guide 8.6 will release very soon, adding similar support for SAS Viya Workbench. So now you can take advantage of the new features in those environments from the familiar SAS Enterprise Guide environment. And you can create process flows that run code on any of the SAS environments you have: SAS 9.4, SAS Viya 3, SAS Viya 4 and SAS Viya Workbench.
