Hello,
i actually got an issue with sas eg 4.3 on windows 10, unable to connect to sas metadata server 9.2 returning this error message :

à SASObjectManager.ObjectFactoryMulti2Class.CreateObjectByServer(String Name, Boolean synchronous, ServerDef pIServerDef, String LoginName, String Password)
à SAS.EG.SDS.Metadata.OMSProvider.Connect()

à SAS.EG.SDS.Metadata.OMSProvider.Connect()
à SAS.EG.SDS.Metadata.MetadataManagerV2.SAS.EG.SDS.Metadata.IMetadataConfiguration.set_ActiveProvider(Provider value)
à SAS.EG.SDS.Dialogs.ProviderConnectDlg.Connect(Object sender, DoWorkEventArgs e)
à System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.OnDoWork(DoWorkEventArgs e)
à System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.WorkerThreadStart(Object argument)
i know windows 10 is not supported for eg 4.3, just wanna know if it could/should work?
Hi, thanks for your help, unfortunatly it didn't solve the problem.
For people who may have similar problems :
our best guess is that the first install had errors but the guy that did it didn't see it, because some prerequesits were missing (.net packages + vc redist).
So we did perform a reinstall and now i have sas EG 4.3 working in windows 10.
See this: http://support.sas.com/kb/45/258.html, specifically point 7.
0x80040154 is a "class not registered" error, happens with incomplete/damaged installs of .NET applications.
