SAS Enterprise Guide 7.11 is now available

  Where can i find the documentation for hiding the 'Check for Updates" feature in SAS EG 7.11?   I have got the SAS EG 7.11 installed and so would like to experiment this  "Hiding"  Option.

Just incase Someone wants to know how to hide the Check for Updates  option under the Help Menu in SAS EG 7.11  ,  below is the response from SAS Technical Support :

First, make a backup copy of your SEGuide.exe.config.

Then in your SEGuide.exe.config file you need to uncomment out the appSettings element and add a CheckForUpdates key. It looks like this:

  <!-- Example application settings -->

  <appSettings>

                <add key="CheckForUpdates" value="false" />

</appSettings>

Once you make that change, open SAS Enterprise Guide 7.11 and the Check for Updates should not be there when you select Help.
