£ currency character outputs as ? character. How can the £ currency character be retained?

Hi:
This is a question that is probably best answered by Tech Support, because they can determine your version of SAS; your operating system; whether or not you're using ODS; whether or not you're using PROC EXPORT; what kind of file you're exporting and what product you're using to open the exported file. All of these things are factors in figuring out the right answer to your question.
