We have an existing database in SQL server, and we successfully created an ODBC connection to SAS v 9.
One of the tables have 2 long column names :
main_claim_process_unit_type_desc_en
main_claim_process_unit_type_desc_fr
SAS v9 concatenated these names and doing a PROC CONTENTS gave :
main_claim_process_unit_type_de0
main_claim_process_unit_type_des
When we converted to E.G., doing a PROC CONTENTS gave us the error :
ERROR: Variable main_claim_process_unit_type_de0 is not on file PRDDMWDW.vwdw_claim_dim.
Does anybody have the same experience ? Is this a bug in E.G. ?
