Hi everyone!

I was assigned to validate if the metadata changes done on the source tables are reflected on the jobs (most likely changes done are on column length and format). I traced the metadata objects impacted by these source tables and noticed that some of the columns and mappings are not yet updated. I also saw that the transformation codes are using the old length and format. With this scenario, may I know which of the following is the correct way of aligning the metadata objects on the table source?

  • Table > Properties > Update Columns?
  • Transformation > Properties > Update  Mappings?
  • Transformation > Properties > Update Code?

Thank you so much!
