Why does SAS Technical Support ask for ViewRegistry reports?

When you log a track with SAS Technical Support, one of the things we might ask for is a ViewRegistry Report. These reports tell us exactly what you have installed on your system and help us determine what hotfix releases you have. They are easy to produce and would save us both time whenever you need help with SAS Customer Intelligence.

It is important we get them from each of your servers. For example, it needs to be run on the compute server, web application server and the metadata server!  So, yes, we expect to see one hotfix report for each server you have!

Read Usage Note 35968 to find out how to run a ViewRegistry Report.
