In Microsoft Windows operating environments, jobs that are scheduled for promotion via SAS Marketing Optimization fail on Platform Suite for SAS. The jobs fail because the Platform LSF Version 7 software uses a backslash as the escape character, and that is not the correct escape character to use under Windows.
To work around this issue, you need to update the Platform LSF code to work with scheduled promotions in SAS Marketing Optimization. In order to do this, it is necessary to add the following two lines to the configuration file for Platform LSF and then restart the Platform LSF Windows services:
lsb_escape_quote=n
lsb_api_quote_cmd=y
See Platform LSF Configuration Reference for details about the location of the LSF configuration file. See Administering Platform LSF for information about restarting Platform LSF Windows services.
