SAS Customer Intelligence 360 Plan allows you to define and automate your marketing process to save time using ‘Workflows’. A workflow consists of a series of tasks that are executed in a specific order to track the progress of a process. Marketing teams can build workflow templates based on best practices. These templates can be created for product launches, collateral designs, advertising, direct marketing, sponsorships, event management, and so on.

Marketing processes include multiple tasks that need to be completed by advertising legal, marketing, product departments.

The person who manages the workflow is called as ‘Initiator’ and the person who works on the task by providing inputs, files, approval is called as ‘Contributor’.

While working on any process, initiator faces multiple scenarios to get the work done from others as mentioned below:

Assign the task to a stakeholder by ‘Select Contributor’: To complete any task, the first step is to assign that task to appropriate stakeholders. While assigning the task, ‘contributor’ of that task must have all necessary information and should know the deadline to complete the task. Customer Intelligence 360 allows ‘initiator’ to share additional information, task due date and assign ‘contributor’ to a task

Replace ‘Contributor’: There can be scenarios wherein the ‘contributor’ to whom a task is assigned is out of office or not the right resource then ‘initiator’ can ‘Replace Contributor’ and get the task completed by other resource.

Assign task to ‘Groups’: ‘Initiator’ might not know who exactly will work on a task from a group/department. ‘Initiator’ can submit the task to a ‘group’ and any member from a ‘group’ can claim the task and work on it.
