You’ve asked and we’ve responded. With the release of SAS Model Manager on SAS Viya 2023.06, we’ve added several new features based on user feedback.
Our first request came from managers and executives seeking to better understand the status of their ModelOps and MLOps projects. To better track statuses, actions, and characteristics of projects and models, we’ve made several enhancements to our tags. Tags quickly provide information about a project or model. Tags can be generated by users to organize projects by business units or automatically generated by SAS Model Manager. With our most recent release of SAS Model Manager, we’ve expanded the list of automatically generated tags as well as enabled searching and sorting by tags. Next, we are working on adding tags into our Advanced Search so managers can quickly find projects with deployed models, where workflows are active, and which projects have performance monitoring defined. Our second request came from risk teams who wanted greater control over binning of input variables in performance monitoring. Our performance monitoring report now supports three types of bins for input variables: adaptive, quantile, and custom. The following demo video walks through leveraging each type of binning:
