Hey academics!

Ever tried to access your SAS resources—the Skill Builder for Students, the Educator Portal, free SAS learning software, or a course page—and been met with the ominous “This course is currently unavailable to learners”?

Good news: you have not been kicked out of the free academic resources. That message almost always means one simple thing—you’re not logged in. And when you’re not logged in, SAS doesn’t recognize you as the VIA (Very Important Academic) you are, which means the treasure chest stays closed.

So that’s the “what.” Now for the “how”—as in, how do you fix it so you can get back to everything you need?

It’s easy. Look at the Profile/Log In icon Rachel_McLawhon_0-1769698751469.pngin the upper right corner of the screen. If your name isn’t showing next to it, that’s your clue you’re not logged in.

Click the icon to go to the login page.

Use your academic credentials to sign in then return to the page you were trying to access. And just like that—voilà—you’re in.

Pass this tip along so no one gets left out. Happy learning!
