With the 2025.12 release of SAS Model Manager, a SAS Viya Copilot is now available to help answer user questions. This SAS Viya Copilot will pull information directly from our SAS Model Manager documentation, so users don’t need to pull up and search the documentation for help. Instead, users ask their questions to our new SAS Viya Copilot and get a response within SAS Model Manager as well as links to related documentation if they would like to explore more.
You can open the Copilot pane by clicking the new icon in the upper right-hand corner of SAS Model Manager. Add your questions to the chat box and get a response as well as a link to the related documentation.

We will continue to iterate and improve our SAS Viya Copilot to be more helpful. There are a few important considerations to keep in mind when using our first iteration of our SAS Viya Copilot:
- Our SAS Viya Copilot can only answer questions in English. If you want to request another language, please let us know in the comments!
- Please ask questions only about SAS Model Manager. Our SAS Viya Copilot won’t answer questions unrelated to SAS.
- Our SAS Viya Copilot may not be available for all regions and all deployments.
This iteration of our SAS Viya Copilot is focused on answering user questions, but we are already working on adding the ability to perform tasks for the user, help users debug problems in their model code, and explain data science concepts and results.
