New in the Viya 2021.1.1 (May 2021) stable release of SAS Studio Flows is the Manage Columns step. The Manage Columns step allows you to select only certain columns from an input table to write to an output table. This step allows you to change the column names, labels, and order in the output table.
The new Manage Columns step in SAS Studio Flow is in the Transform Data section.

The Manage Columns step requires its input to either be a table node or another node that creates an output table (e.g., Filter node or Import node). Once it is connected to its input, then you highlight the desired fields and select Add columns in the Available Columns section to add them to the output for the node.
Once the desired columns have been added, you can reorder them by highlight a column to move and selecting the Move columns drop-down.
You can also use this step to rename fields and change or add labels. At this time, you can not change other attributes such as Type or Format.
You also have the option to Filter the selected columns for output to aid in making your desired changes.
Once you have made all the desired changes, you can run the flow and a Work table is created with your specified changes. You can also add a Table node as the output to specify a location and table name to create.
