SAS® OnDemand for Academics SAS® Studio Access Issue

Potential issues users may experience when trying to launch SAS® OnDemand for Academics SAS® Studio:
- When the SAS® OnDemand for Academics SAS Studio tab opens there is an error message that states, "Connection Error to Workspace Server...."
- When the SAS® OnDemand for Academics SAS Studio tab opens the loading gets stuck on a Signing in.... box and does not proceed to the interface.
- When the SAS® OnDemand for Academics SAS Studio tab opens the page gets stuck at loading the interface.
- When the SAS® OnDemand for Academics SAS Studio tab opens and then closes abruptly without providing the interface.
If you experience any of the issues listed above, first make sure that you are logging into your SAS OnDemand for Academics Account Dashboard and clicking on Launch next to Code with SAS® Studio so that an additional SAS Studio tab opens in your web browser:
SAS® OnDemand for Academics SAS Studio is not typically accessible without logging into the dashboard first. If you are logging into the dashboard first and Launching from that page and experiencing an access issue, please try the steps below to hopefully provide a resolution for this:
- Make sure that you are using a web browser that is supported to use with SAS® Studio, if you are using a supported web browser you can try to clear your browser cache and/or try to use another supported web browser. Clear your saved tabs in SAS OnDemand for Academics SAS Studio. To do this look under Other Actions: and click on the Clear my saved tabs link. You should then receive a message that the tabs have been cleared and you can return to the dashboard to try to Launch SAS Studio again. - Flush your machine's DNS cache. There may be an issue with your DNS that could be resolved by clearing the DNS cache on your end. To do this follow the directions for your operating system at the link below:

After you submit the command, check to see if the issue persists.
- Check to see if your network/and or machine are preventing the connection. SAS® OnDemand for Academics SAS® Studio can be used on different networks and machines so if you are still having an issue with connecting, try to login on another network and/or machine to see if you are then able to access SAS® Studio.
