Ruh-roh!! You created a SAS Profile using a non-academic email address, only to discover that free resources from SAS Global Academic Programs —like software and learning portals—require an approved academic email.
No worries! You can easily update your email address on your SAS Profile. Here’s how:
Important Notes:
This won’t work if a profile already exists for the new email address.
We can’t merge two existing profiles, so make sure you’re updating the right account.
After modifying your profile, it can take approximately 30–45 minutes for changes to be reflected across all servers. So don’t panic if you don’t see the update immediately!

If you wish to delete your SAS Profile associated with your personal email account, please send a request to SASProfileHelp@sas.com. Please be aware that any activations linked to this account will also be removed, resulting in the loss of progress.
