Why are some assets in the Marketing Operations Management (MOM) Management Digital Library missing a thumbnail?
Answer
The Digital Library does not create thumbnails automatically for every file type, though it does support several (see below). With a few simple clicks you can replace a missing thumbnail with one that has been created from an image editing application. To replace the thumbnail, click the arrow next to the asset and select “Asset Information” from the menu. From the Asset Information window, click the “Upload Thumbnail” link. This will allow you to upload a thumbnail from your computer to be used with the selected asset.
Supported file types for automatic thumbnail creation:
AI, ASF, AVI, BMP, DOC, DOCX, EPS, FLV, JPG/JPEG, MOV, MP4, MPEG, MPG, PCD, PCX, PDF, PICT, PNG, PPT, PPTX, PSD, SGI, TIFF (RGB), WMA, WMV, WPG, XLS, and XLSX
