The Internet has been around a long time. "Things" have been around even longer. No surprise there's a bunch of hype about the Internet of Things (IoT). But getting lost in all the billions and trillions talk is the true nature of the things themselves. The things provide value far beyond just more big data, faster. They make streams of events. To bring clarity to things, you need event stream processing.
