In the world of data science and analytics, starting a journey to success needs more than just technical skills—it requires a complete approach that includes learning, making connections, and growing personally. Imagine a busy place filled with eager minds, all ready to dive into the world of data analytics. Here, at the SAS Spring Campus, Aleksandra found herself fully engaged in practical training, expert sessions, and invaluable networking opportunities. It was the perfect starting point for her growing career in data science.

Aleksandra's journey started with realizing the many opportunities offered by SAS internships. As she attended various sessions, covering topics from SAS programming to machine learning on SAS Viya, her desire to learn grew rapidly. The interactive sessions, along with hands-on challenges, helped her improve her technical skills while also learning teamwork and communication.

However, amidst all the learning, Aleksandra noticed areas where she could improve personally. Understanding the importance of presentation and communication skills, she decided to work on them. With dedicated effort and guidance from mentors, she aimed to improve her ability to communicate effectively—an important skill in the world of data science.

Looking at Aleksandra's journey from a learning perspective, it's clear that curiosity and passion were crucial. Each interaction, whether with experts or fellow interns, offered a new perspective, helping her understand SAS applications and tools better. Additionally, her transition from intern to associate technical training consultant gave her insight into the changing landscape of data careers.

“My philosophy goes in line with SAS values, and I really love them. It's curious, passionate, accountable. So just be yourself. Be authentic. Learn every day. Try to become better, do better, and be curious, be passionate about what you do, and at the end of the day, you will be happy and satisfied.”

Just as Aleksandra's journey began with curiosity and passion, it ends with a renewed commitment to these values. Her ultimate goals remain the same—to become a skilled data scientist, share her knowledge, and tackle new challenges with enthusiasm. In this continuous cycle of learning, the end marks not just a finish line but a fresh start—a reminder that success comes from curiosity, passion, and a dedication to lifelong learning.

As Aleksandra reflects on her experiences, she realizes that her journey is far from over. Armed with new knowledge and a passion for learning, she moves forward with confidence. Her goals go beyond technical skills; she wants to share her passion, inspire others, and keep growing in the field of data science.
