It's not just because SAS Viya 4.0 is cloud ready. It's not because SAS is available in a container. It's not just because Azure is now the preferred cloud provider for SAS. And it's not even because I went to high school together years ago with the presenter, Doug Liming. I'm highlighting this SAS Global Forum 2020 session because Doug simplifies the process of deploying a SAS container on Azure with this excellent presentation. Doug illustrates how a process which took over 15 minutes on his local machine takes less than 3 minutes when run in a SAS container on Azure. He also demonstrates how easy and fast it is to deploy SAS on Azure.
