How many places must I sometimes edit input variables in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio?

SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, that change is not always propagated correctly. Changes to both the name of the variable and to the data type of a variable might not be reflected.

When you edit the name of an input variable in the Start node for a decision treatment campaign, all references to the input variable should be updated automatically to reflect the new name. Specifically, the variable name should be updated in the following places in the campaign in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio:

  • downstream nodes
  • treatments on the Treatments page, under Custom Details
  • arbitration processes
  • calculated variables

When you change the data type of an input variable in any Start node, that change does not propagate to any of the locations where the variable is used. In addition, downstream nodes are not marked as Not Ready, as they should be in order to alert you of the need for a manual change.

There is no workaround for this issue.
