Since the early days of the SAS and SingleStore collaboration, much has evolved. With the recent transformation of the offering, it’s the perfect time to take a fresh look at what SAS SpeedyStore brings to the table.
History and New Offering
SAS Viya with SingleStore was a combined solution where SAS’s advanced analytics and AI capabilities seamlessly integrate with SingleStore’s high-performance, cloud-native database, allowing users to perform complex data analysisdirectly on real-time data stored within SingleStore, resulting in faster insights and improved decision-making without the need for extensive data movement.
SAS Viya with SingleStore Premium was an extension of SAS Viya with SingleStore with advanced database features like point-in-time recovery, audit logging, resource governance, and multi-AZ failover.
Today, SAS SpeedyStore is the unified offering that remains—bringing together all the capabilities of the former Premium edition under a new name. The original SAS Viya with SingleStore and its Premium variant have been retired, making SAS SpeedyStore the sole, modern solution for integrating SAS analytics with SingleStore's database performance.
