SAS Studio in SAS OnDemand for Academics is a web-based learning software. Since it's web-based, the default language setting is dependent on the browser locale or the language setting of your browser.
The tagged solution in this community post: https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Software-for-Learning/About-language-setting-of-SAS-studio/m-p/13... shows how to effectively change the settings in Chrome. To be safe, make sure that English will be the top language on the list in case you have more than one added, which is also aligned with this support note: https://support.sas.com/kb/63/239.html.
Here are the steps for easy reference:
- Paste this URL in your Chrome address bar: chrome://settings/languages to go to the language setting
- Check that English (United States) is added and on top of your language list. If needed use the button "Display Google Chrome in this language".
- Restart your browser and then launch SAS Studio from SAS OnDemand for Academics.
Ideally, restarting the browser after changing the settings would take effect immediately, but just in case it doesn’t, clearing the browser cache and launching a new session may help.
For Mac and Linux users, Chrome will automatically display in the default system language of your computer. Please ensure that both your language settings in Chrome and in your device are set to English.
