Many customers working with SAS on a Microsoft Windows desktop or server also have data stored in a Microsoft SQL Server database, and want to work with this data within SAS. This article describes how to configure both the SQL Server OLEDB data provider and/or the SQL Server ODBC driver on a Windows machine, as well as the different ways to connect to a database in SAS.
