In Module 5, Text Mining, the instructor made a comment that a data set can be scored using the Text Topic Node, rather than going the process of building a decision tree and then scorning the data.  How do you score a data set using the Text Topic Node?

Thank you.

Hi:
We'll post the question to the Text Miner instructors. Thanks for letting us know what Module you're in. Until you hear back, the documentation for the Text Topic Node may be useful: https://support.sas.com/documentation/onlinedoc/txtminer/14.2/tmref.pdf -- it starts on page 113 (Chapter 8).

Connect the Text Topic node and your new document data set to a Score Node. Run the Score node and look at the Exported Score data set to see the binary topic flags and raw topic dimensions for each of your new documents. The binary topic flags indicate whether the topic exists in the new document.
