1) Are tagsets going to be updated in 9.2 as they were in previous releases and if so how will they be made available?
2) For version 9.1.3 I used an ods path statement along the lines of:

ods path newtempl.mytemplates (read)
sasuser.templat (read)
sashelp.tmplmst (read);

to point to my updated templates. Is this structure still advisable/necessary?

TIA.

Hi:
Yes, in SAS 9.2, template access for reading and writing is still controlled via the use of the ODS PATH statement.

Could I still get an answer to my first question?

Sorry, if you go to the same web site where you downloaded tagsets for SAS 8 and SAS 9.1.3, you can still download updated tagsets, if there are any.

Generally, I have found that tagset templates delivered with SAS 9.2 haven't needed updating yet -- for my purposes. As far as I know, the mechanism for delivering tagsets has not changed for SAS 9.2 -- this is where I would go to get updated tagset templates.

If any tagset was ONLY for SAS 9.2, it would be noted on this page.

Usually, the only tagset template I ever update is the TAGSETS.EXCELXP template. And, so far, I haven't needed to update it yet.

Also, TAGSETS.TABLEEDITOR is available for download on a different page:
