I am using a connect to Teradata statement within proc sql to do some explicit sql passthrough.  I need help with the following Teradata select statement.

select * from ABC.TAB1 where cast((max(LD_DTTM)) as date) = current_date;

I keep getting a I keep getting an “Improper use of an aggregate function in a WHERE clause” error. LD_DTTM is a datetime(6) field and current_date is a date field.

Since this is a Teradata specific SQL syntax question, I suggest that you seek help on a Teradata forum instead.
