I am working on a data set that is merged from two sets. Then I want to separate date and time to two columns.
This is what I have done:
data JF_XY; merge JF XY; by number; format date datepart(DateTime, date9.); run;
The left is the data set that I am working on. The right is the expected output.
Thank you in advance for help!
Do not confuse functions and formats :
data JF_XY; merge JF XY; by number; date = datepart(datetime); time = timepart(datetime); format date yymmdd10. time time.; run;
