Consider the following if and else if statements. What value of QuizRange will be assigned to a missing value of Quiz?
if Quiz = 'A+' or Quiz = 'A' or Quiz = 'B+' or Quiz = 'B'
then QuizRange = 1;
else if Quiz = 'B-' or Quiz = 'C+' or Quiz = 'C'
then QuizRange = 2;
I think you are asking what value will the variable QUIZRANGE have if QUIZ is blank.
It will have the value it had BEFORE those two statement ran.
If QUIZRANGE was missing it stays missing.
If QUIZRANGE was 150,000 then it stays 150,000.
