Have some trouble to open SAS University Edition

Hi!

I followed the guideline to install SAS University Edition. I got virtual box and ova file ready and successfully imported the ova (also shared the folder: myfolder). But, when I tried to start the SAS via virtual box, it reported such error:

How can this be solved?

Hi:
This earlier posting seems to outline the issue. It looks like you are on a Mac and so you may be running into the issue outlined on this post. The first error message isn't the same as you show, but the second error message is. Just a note about University Edition, it has a very short "shelf life" -- University Edition is being retired at the end of July 2021. My understanding is that after the end of July, all instances of University Edition will cease to work.

If you want a zero-download, browser-based way to access SAS on our cloud server, then you might want to investigate switching to SAS OnDemand for Academics instead of University Edition.
