if A = ("B" and "C")

T = date part A

Since there is no way that "A" or "B" is a date then you really need to provide examples of your data values and what you expect.

 

Be prepared to answer questions about the actual type of variable and the current SAS formats assigned to any of your variables.

Provide example data, and what you want to get out of it. One-liners won't get any meaningful answers.

And start ANSWERING to the suggestions you got for your previous questions. Unless you want to be considered rude by the people here.
