SAS Content Assessment 2025.08 is available today, August 21!
Here are the enhancements:
- A new application—SAS 9 Code Dependencies—is provided in this release. This application specifies what input dependencies are needed for a SAS program to run successfully and any output dependencies that the SAS program creates. It informs the user of file dependencies.
- The SAS 9 Inventory report includes a Potential File Duplicates page identifying potential duplicate files. You can determine actual duplicate files to clean up before migration, which leads to less storage use and lower maintenance.
- The SAS 9 Inventory report has two new pages showing the number and distribution of Hot, Warm, and Cold files, which indicates how recently the file was accessed and modified. This value is based on thresholds that you set.
- The SAS 9 Content Assessment for Linux PC Users application and the SAS 9 Content Assessment for Windows PC Users application provide information in an HTML report about Hot, Warm, and Cold files based on default threshold values.
- Enhancements have been made, performance has improved, and issues have been addressed across the applications.
