I am trying ODS Graphics Designer for the first time because I need a single graph with several stacked bar charts butterflied with numbers facing left and percents adding to 100 facing right.
My first problem is that I can't figure out how make a library pointing to my data. I may need to ask separate questions about creating the graph itself later, but could you get me started by telling me how to issue a libname statement or whatever the equivalent is in the designer. Thanks.
Note: I see the assign data window, but it only lists existing libraries like SASHELP and SASUSER. I need to access the rest of my computer.
The easiest way is to set up a libname to your data in SAS before you start Designer. All active libnames from SAS will be available in Designer after it starts.
a library statement;
libname mylib "your data path";
where your data path could = C:\mywork
