What is the difference between a portal and a dashboard in sas?

I want to know the difference between a portal and a dashboard in sas..

how are they related.. what is the use of having those ? pls let me know

SAS BI Dashboard

And, since both of these products are related to the BI Platform, you might want to search for that, as well.

In addition, there are other ways to create dashboards without using the BI Platform. For example, you could use SAS/GRAPH or ODS GRAPHICS to create dashboards. But I believe that you are referring to the SAS Information Delivery Portal and the SAS BI Dashboard, which are both part of the SAS Platform for Business Analytics:
