Similar to the prescribed environment for payments, there is also a prescribed environment for the cards “package” (set of business features provided in the SAS Fraud Management software. As a refresher, a prescribed environment is an out-of-the-box installation in the software. It captures industry best practices into a set of default settings and is provided as a recommendation.
The options and settings in the cards package cover the same areas as the payments package and, like the payments package, nearly all can be modified by business users after implementation:
