Hello all,
I am trying to schedule a SAS Windows job to run daily. However, I need to use a "rsubmit" signon to a remote server. If I want to use a batch file, what option(s) do I include besides:

"C:\Program Files\SAS\SAS 9.1\sas.exe " -sysin "N:\myjob.sas"

in order to automate signon id and password?
Thanks in advance!

Hi:
This forum is for questions about SAS Stored Processes, which are SAS programs designed to run on servers defined to the SAS Platform for Business Analytics (also known as the BI Platform). A SAS Stored Process consists of a .SAS program and metadata information that is registered in the metadata repository (such as the server on which to run the stored process, any parameters the stored process might have, and any authorization settings that should be applied, etc). In this context, SAS Stored Processes might be turned into DI Studio jobs and scheduled using the LSF scheduler, which is another component of the platform or a SAS Report, based on a stored process might have a scheduled refresh set up in Web Report Studio.

Are you using the SAS Platform for Business Analytics and/or the Stored Process Server or the Workspace server to submit your stored process? Do you have a SAS stored process, or do you just have a "regular" .SAS program that needs to be submitted via a batch job to SAS on a server machine?

For more help with setting up an RSUBMIT signon to a remote server, outside the context of the SAS Platform for Business Analytics, you might want to consult the SAS/Connect documentation:
http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/connref/61908/HTML/default/a000377132.htm

For more help with setting up a batch job to execute, you might want to consult the SAS Companion for your operating system:
http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/hostvms/62450/HTML/default/viewer.htm#/documentation/cdl...
http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/hostwin/63285/HTML/default/viewer.htm#/documentation/cdl...
http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/hosto390/61886/HTML/default/viewer.htm#/documentation/cd...

If you need more help setting up a scheduled job to run, you might want to work with Tech Support, because the method that you use, will, in most cases, depend on the system you're running on and the software that is available.
