Watch the Webinar

You will learn how to:

  • Simplify data management and episode analysis.
  • Strengthen cost efficiency.
  • Better understand risk and provider attribution.

You will learn about unified episode intelligence: integrating data from multiple sources and analyzing claims as episodes of care to get a complete view of cost, quality and outcomes. You will also learn to drive value and efficiency by identifying variation at treatment, patient and population levels. And you will learn about optimizing performance and accountability by using insights to strengthen quality programs and value-based payment results.

The questions from the Q&A segment held at the end of the webinar are listed below and the slides from the webinar are attached.

Q&A

What if we don't have Viya?

Unfortunately, Cost of care analytics is only available for Viya.

What kind of ROI are organizations seeing?

From both the market and our customers, we are seeing that return on investment often comes from at least three areas. The first is network and contract optimization, which is achieved through better insight into variation by provider, episode, and site of care, or through stronger negotiating leverage. Secondly, ROI typically results from payment accuracy and leakage reduction, meaning the identification of coding anomalies, overpayment detection, or reduced unwarranted variation. Third, benefits often arise from product strategy optimization, such as more precise pricing assumptions and improved medical cost forecasting. We believe organizations can often justify these investments even with just a 1 to 2% improvement in medical costs, reduced pricing misalignment, or faster decision cycles across finance and network teams. For most customers, including payers, government agencies, or providers, that impact alone will far exceed the system cost.

How transparent and customizable is the product? Can we adapt it to our unique strategies?

We allow organizations to load their own episode definitions and, as mentioned, to modify or create custom episode definitions. The product is very transparent and flexible. You have the ability to load your own codes and make these changes, ensuring flexibility and transparency for your team.
